We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parts and Service Person to join our team at Coach Masters. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our customers receive timely, high-quality service and the parts they need to keep their buses operating efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for the transportation industry, and a deep understanding of bus parts and maintenance procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Order, track, and maintain an inventory of bus parts, accessories, and supplies.
- Ensure that all parts are accurately labeled, organized, and stored.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure high-quality parts and ensure timely deliveries.
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting appropriate bus parts based on their needs.
- Process parts orders and returns, ensuring that all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating bus repairs and maintenance services for customers.
- Work closely with the service technicians to ensure that all repair and maintenance jobs are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure customer work orders are properly documented, invoiced, and billed according to dealership policies.
- Follow up with customers regarding the status of their service, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing, and service options.
- Offer advice and guidance on preventive maintenance and part replacement schedules.
- Handle any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the parts department and service areas.
- Assist with basic shop maintenance tasks and support technicians as needed.
- Keep track of service and repair schedules, ensuring that all jobs are completed within designated timeframes.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in parts and/or service is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems
